EVENT ONLY Creatures

Xen doesn't only inhabit small creatures like headcrabs, but also enormously large creatures that could cause immense damage to the current world if they were released... and eventually... they will.

Since we cannot afford any sort of FRP from anyone who plays these, they will only be given out to staff or extremely trusted players, both having to go through a slight OOC training.

Gargantua

This giant bipedal monster has a blue, completely bulletproof carapace on its entire body, making explosives or electricity the only way to harm it. It has bent, hoove like legs and its hands are two large pincers that it can emit a powerful jet fuel-like substance out of, which sets on flame the second it leaves the pincer.

It is unknown if the Gargantua is a natural species or if it is manufactured like the Alien Grunt. Its integrated weaponry and bio-mechanical appearance suggest that it is an artificially created or engineered creature.

Gonarch
The code-named "Gonarch" is a four-legged creature with a large sac on its bottom. Its top and legs are protected by a rather thick but not unbreakable carapace. It is clear that it is the "Mother" of the headcrabs, producing them in the sac, then they are live born in groups of 3-4. The Gonarch is the final stage in a headcrabs lifecycle.

Little is known about how and when the metamorphosis from Headcrab to Gonarch takes place, as few Headcrabs ever reach that stage.

They attack by charging at their victim, then attempting to puncture them with their massive legs. They also have a ranged attack: yellowish balls of acidic material from the top of their shells which they hurl through the air like mortars, raining down upon the victim.

Pitworm

The Pit Worm's caterpillar-like segmented body supports a head dominated by a single large eye with two vertical eyelids, and a twelve teeth mouth under it. It lives in any hazardous material deep enough for it, where it digs a deep hole to rest there until prey comes by. ( For example, in a large pool of hazardous material)

The Pit Worm's eye is its primary weapon, capable of firing a searing energy beam at nearby enemies. If enemies get too close, the worm also has large claws to strike out with. If it is shot in the eye, it will recoil, shielding it with its claws for a few seconds before striking aggressively at the enemy. The Pit Worm makes bird-like vocalizations.
